Dong Giang is a self-taught graphic designer. She first labeled herself J.thejourney as a pseudonym to be cool.

Besides being an undergraduate majoring in Art & Media Studies at Fulbright University Vietnam, Dong Giang works as a graphic designer and has been exposed to the industry with branding, advertising, and illustration design since 2019.

She practices drawing, painting, and recently, sculpturing as an act of exploring the multidisciplinarity of art-making and collecting resources as well as techniques for her future works. Her focus tends to be monochromatic linework graphics/drawings with the involvement of dots and geometric shapes, which questions the primitive-ness of graphic art.
