Dong Giang is a self-taught graphic designer who majored in Art & Media Studies at Fulbright University Vietnam. She first labeled herself J.thejourney as a pseudonym to be cool.

Giang likes to involve herself in diversified design projects, varying from music art covers, packaging, emails, and ads to illustrations.

She practices drawing, painting, and sculpting as an act of exploring the interdisciplinarity of art-making and collecting resources as well as techniques for her future works. Her personal interest tends to be monochrome linework graphics/drawings with dots and geometric shapes, questioning the "primitiveness" of graphic art.
